Every little girl loves to sneak in their momma's jewelry and play  My two girls are no exception.  Brooklynn just happened to try and sneak it while I was sitting right beside her with my camera in reach!!  

Brooklynn's Tea Party

My sweet girl, Brooklynn Ray, is on the verge of celebrating her 2nd birthday.  It is so hard to believe that it has been 2 years since she entered our world and changed our lives forever.  Miss Brooklynn had a difficult time napping today...so after a very short nap, Momma got her up and we had an impromptu tea party.  She was thrilled that I brought out the nice glass tea set instead of the cheap plastic one she normally is allowed to play with.  The light and the fun was to good to pass up the opportunity to get my camera out.

I cherish everyday with her.....I love every single moment.  
Brooklynn has a very special blanket....we do nothing without it.  I am completely convinced that she will go to her first day of Kindergarten with it wrapped around her neck.  

I was working on some photo props for some Spring photos and Brooklynn wanted to test them out.   

And then we have classic Brooklynn faces....

 The last picture there totally screams "Mom please put the camera away." 

Darjean Kids photo session

Eric and Linda Darjean have been dear friends of my husband and I since college and it was a blessing to get to take some pictures for them of their sweet children.  They have 4 beautiful kids....all with something special about each one of them.  Enjoy the pictures and leave some feedback or go to facebook and like my page - 3 Birds Photography!!  

I am starting with my favorite picture....It is what some would call an outtake....I call it perfection!!  You see each of their personalities shining.  I like the behind the scenes candid shots...but don't worry I have some normal portraits also.  

Spring Sale Starts TODAY....And "GROW WITH ME" details

I am running a spring sale....I decided one night as I was laying down for bed I want everyone to have the opportunity to get pictures this spring if they want to.  Either casual or in their fancy Easter clothes.  So here at the details...

Spring Sale
The cost is $75.00 for around a hour shoot (workable with babies or cranky blessings).  You get a CD with print release and it will have somewhere between 10-15 images on it.  All shoots will be on location and if I have to drive a good distance I will have to add on a little gas money.  
To get the Spring Sale price you must book and pay for your session between the dates of February 25 and March 9th.  We don't have to do the pictures during that time.....you just have to BOOK your session.  If you have questions just send me an email.

I also want to introduce the "Grow with me" plan.  I am really excited about this.  As I was thinking about what I wanted my business to be about one of the areas I really wanted to make workable and affordable for parents (especially mommies) is those important milestone pictures from birth to 1 year.  So I came up with a plan just to accommodate that.  Here is how it works.  I cut my regular session fee over half.  So instead of $150 I am only charging $60 per session on the grow with me plan.  You have to book at least 4 sessions.  That comes to a total of $240.  I have booked 3 just this weekend.  I am so thrilled that I get to capture these moments for the parents and get to watch these sweet babies grow over the first year.  Here are the details....
The plan has to be paid for in full up front.  You are responsible for emailing/calling to book your child's session at the appropriate times.  The sessions will run somewhere around 1 hour to an hour and a half and will be done on location or we can do a lifestyle shoot in your home if lighting is good.  You get a cd with print release with 15-20 images on it.  You can add extra sessions for $60 each.

Lauren's Beauty Session

I didn't know Miss Lauren before her photo shoot, but I soon learned (as you will see in the photos) that she is young, full of life, out going, and fearless.  I had a blast shooting these pictures.  We spent the morning in the Ft. Worth Stockyards and in truth we should have spent the whole day!!  Enjoy the photos and leave me some feedback on your favorites!!
